Assisting the division Process Industries, as a Transport & Trade Specialist, you will ensure that goods are shipped while meeting quality, legal and costs parameters. Reporting to the Team Lead - Transport Operations, you will maintain and improve transport/logistics processes to optimize product and material deliveries.

Your responsibilities
  • Organization and monitoring of worldwide transport activities (air, sea, courier / export, import, cross trade, domestic)
  • Dispatch and coordination of temporary deliveries with Carnet ATA
  • Obtaining, issuance, validation, and certification of commercial documents for transport, customs clearance, and payment release (SAP/GTS)
  • Issuing and handling of documents in accordance with letters of credit
  • Adherence to international trade compliance rules and requirements, such as preferential and non-preferential origin of goods, export controls, Incoterms
  • Obtaining and evaluating of transport offers and nomination of forwarders
  • Issuing of commercial invoices and credit notes
  • Regular contact with customers, suppliers and forwarders, banks, chambers of commerce, customs, and tax authorities
Your background
  • Completed commercial apprenticeship
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role working in international transport and trade
  • Knowledge of customs procedures, trade compliance, preferential and non-preferential origin, and VAT regulations
  • SAP and GTS experience is an advantage
  • A proactive, solution-focused, and reliable team player with strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Fluency in German and English
