The opportunity : Trading Support - Fixed-term contract 12 months

The job holder is responsible for ensuring that all investment transactions executed on behalf of private clients and discretionary portfolios achieve best possible outcomes in accordance with the firm's Best Execution Policy, and internal governance standards. The role provides analytical insight into trade execution quality, ensures compliance with regulatory expectations, and supports continuous improvement of trading oversight processes across asset classes.

In this role you will:

  • Conduct post-trade reviews of client transactions across equities, derivatives, OTC, fixed income, FX, funds, and structured products to ensure adherence to the firm's best execution obligations.
  • Assess execution outcomes by comparing sample of actual trade prices against market data.
  • Identify outliers or anomalies in execution performance and investigate root causes with trading and other teams.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation to evidence compliance with monitoring activities.
  • Consolidate information on dashboards and executive summaries for each entity and asset classes covered
  • Support projects to define execution processes and enhance automation through data anlalytics capabilities in coordination with IT, project team and third-party provider.
You should apply if you have:
  • Strong understanding of investment instruments relevant to wealth management portfolios (equities, derivatives, OTC, bonds, FX, mutual funds, ETFs).
  • Working knowledge of order routing and markets
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret large datasets and market data.
  • Proficiency with Excel,
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg and Avaloq is an advantage
  • Organized, methodical, and able to work independently with sound judgment.
  • Proven experience in a compliance monitoring, investment oversight, or trading support role within wealth management, private banking, or investment management.
  • Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
  • Analytical curiosity on trading workflow and process
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, able to identify process enhancements.
  • Comfortable interacting with front-office teams ,traders and IT
