Duties and Responsibilities
What we are looking for: The Geneva office runs an International Trade Trainee Lawyer programme on a 12-month rolling basis (Full time and paid). The training period is designed to put into practice intellectual, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as provide an environment to develop client-relationship knowledge and skills, and professional values, behaviours, attitudes and ethics. Trainees will have the opportunity to develop professional legal skills and to gain a practical understanding and experience of the law, and in particular of international trade law and World Trade Organisation ('WTO') dispute settlement matters. Work will be wide-ranging, and specific experience will include research and development of facts to support potential claims, and preparation of submissions to WTO adjudicators.
