Job purpose

The Trust Officer is capable of managing a dedicated portfolio of private clients, and provides support to the Team Lead/Head of Department in all relevant areas including but not limited to compliance, AML audits, invoicing & collection, communication with local regulators.

Key responsibilities
  • Work on an international client portfolio
  • Build long term and stable relationships with current clients
  • Regular communication with clients
  • Be aware of local regulation
  • Be aware of risk and compliance / regulation issues and escalate any issues
  • Verifying that new and existing client files meet acceptable anti-money laundering know your client requirements
  • Ensure clients are billed appropriately and maintain and improve the profitability of the assigned portfolio of clients
  • Ensure the provision of an efficient and quality service, liaising with clients, agencies, professional advisers, and intermediaries
  • Ensure that new client business allocated to the job holder is thoroughly researched and that the client\\\'s requirements are understood
  • Maintain close relationships with and sound knowledge of the needs of all \\\'clients\\\' (this includes the UBOs of entities, Settlors and Beneficiaries as appropriate). This is achieved through maintaining regular contact with all relevant parties
  • Ensure timely and accurate unaudited financial statements and (where applicable) CRS and FATCA reports are produced for all portfolio entities and trusts/foundations
  • Ensure timely and accurate portfolio investment reports are produced by Enhance Group for all investment portfolios and actioned where appropriate including challenging portfolio managers where required
  • Ensure that, where appropriate contracts, and fee agreements are in place with clients
  • Adhere to policies and procedures as set down in the Company Procedures Manuals
  • Attend meetings with clients
  • Input timesheet daily
  • Control debtors to the level determined by the Team Lead/Head of Department
  • Ensure AML transaction reports are produced in a timely manner in accordance with AML policy
  • Develop client and intermediary relations including seeking opportunities for cross-selling TMF products and services
Key Requirements
  • Swiss Trust experience (STEP certificate) preferred
  • Good communication skills coupled with the ability to liaise with people internationally, through spoken and written channels and at all levels
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to work on multiple issues, change priorities and organize workload
  • Able to build and retain strong client and intermediary feeder relationships
