As part of our VAT Team you will provide VAT advice on national and international projects and restructurings, perform tax due diligence in the context of M&A projects and coordinate international supply chain projects. How you can make an impact

• Take responsibility and coordinate local as well as international projects and act as an advisor for our clients from various sectors on complex VAT tax issues
• Manage accounts from A-Z with the support of juniors and review of more senior team members
• Support our VAT compliance clients in the review of VAT returns and turnover reconciliations as well as prepare for VAT audits by the Federal Tax Administration
• Work together with colleagues across service lines (e.g. Consulting, Audit and Assurance) regarding any VAT aspects as well as other teams such as direct tax, business intelligence and tax technology
• Acting as role model for juniors and help them grow within their career

Who we are looking for

• You hold a Bachelor or Master in relevant field. Completion of the Swiss tax expert diploma (Steuerexperte) / MAS VAT / similar is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in providing VAT consulting services to international clients or comparable industry experience
• You are keen to learn and develop yourself and a team of juniors, like to challenge the status quo, are interested in the broader context of what you do and work independently, efficiently and solution oriented
• You have a network in the Swiss market and are able to build client relationships.
• You communicate fluently in French and English. Any further languages would be an advantage.
