Responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of Swiss and EU VAT declarations
- Preparation and submission of Intrastat declaration
- Turnover and input VAT reconciliations
- Assist the head of tax with VAT and Customs audits and ad-hoc questions from tax authorities
- Assist the finance team with the creation and implementation of best practice / VAT compliance procedures
- Taking care of VAT refund procedures and implementation of VAT refund processes
- Working with the treasury department to ensure VAT payments are made on time and VAT refunds are received and monitored
- Potentially take over excuse duty declarations
- At least 3 years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 experience with Swiss and EU VAT compliance in an inhouse position or within an advisory company
- Fluent in English. German would be a plus.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders both internally and externally
- Experience with NetSuite / Oracle desirable
