The Team

A&M's global Disputes & Investigations (DI) practice is a leading provider of forensic accounting, forensic technology, privacy, cyber, economic expert witness, dispute resolution and investigation services. The firm has an established reputation for high quality and conflict-free work. Our approach is characterised by a high level of objectivity, diligence and intensive analysis. The DI team comprises over 450 professionals globally with dedicated European teams in London, Munich, Frankfurt, Athens, Paris, Madrid, Geneva and Zurich. We have worked on some of the most significant, high-profile matters in the investigative and disputes arena across many European countries and beyond.


A&M's DI team embraces professionals from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds, who bring deep expertise in conducting investigations, presenting expert evidence including testifying, managing electronic disclosure exercises and interrogating complex sets of information. Our core areas of work include commercial litigation and international arbitration, valuation disputes, contract disputes, anti-bribery and fraud investigations, regulatory investigations and other dispute advisory services.

How you will contribute

Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations is seeking a Warranty & Indemnity insurance / Representations & Warranty insurance Manager to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland.


We are looking for a candidate that has a minimum of the following skills and experiences.


The candidate will have multiple years' experience in the mergers & acquisitions field with the majority of that time at an international accounting firm related to performing deal acquisition financial due diligence. The candidate will also have multiple years' experience managing and providing guidance to European and North American insurance companies on underwriting risks, financial loss assessments and accounting under European accounting standards, US GAAP and IFRS relating to all of the following: Warranty & Indemnity insurance and Representations and Warranty insurance with claims experience in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and North America. The candidate will have managed W&I/RWI staff and successfully consulted on at least 40 W&I/RWI claims with insurance carriers and underwriters, have an accounting education, and accounting certification and be a member of a national accounting accreditation body.
