Job Description

Join our Systems Engineering team as a working student and help shape the future of model-based systems engineering at Belimo. In this role, you will enhance our systems engineering toolchain by developing Python-based solutions that improve usability, streamline workflows, and automate recurring processes. Your contributions will play a key part in creating a seamless and intuitive user experience for our engineering community.



What You'll Do

Develop and maintain Python scripts to extend tool functionality

Integrate REST APIs to automate workflows within the used tools

Design and implement user-friendly GUI interfaces

Collaborate with engineers to identify and implement tool improvements and document technical processes and support internal user

Who You Are

Currently enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Understanding of object-oriented programming in Python (show us your repo if possible)

Ideally experience with REST APIs, familiarity with GUI development (e.g., Tkinter, PyQt); exposure to iQUAVIS or similar Systems Engineering tools

Interest in model-based systems engineering

Fluency in English or German
