The Foundation is stepping up its efforts aiming to positively impact the lives of millions of vulnerable young people around the world. To support these developments, we are looking for an experienced manager to drive several global partnerships we have with organizations including UNICEF and Junior Achievement.

What you will do

Management of global partnerships
  • Drive the delivery of activities, operations and innovations in the global partnerships under management that support youth\\\'s mental wellbeing and education/employability/entrepreneurship
  • Ensure proper governance set-ups are in place to successfully define, execute and deliver on the agreed plans for these partnerships
  • Ensure that the projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and that the planned impact of the programs is a) maximized and b) is delivered according to the plans
  • Ensure sound impact reporting mechanisms are in place to track impact delivery in a regular fashion, and monitor impact generated through these partnerships
  • Support the identification and prioritization of key stakeholders (in scope for the global partnerships under management) that can help the Foundation to scale its impact through system-level changes or partnerships.
  • Monitor the delivery of advocacy initiatives linked to those stakeholders.
  • Represent the Foundation in the operational coordination groups of these partnerships and support the Foundation\\\'s Head and Pillar Heads in their participation to steering committees
Provide strategic input and support
  • Provide input and expertise to the Foundation\\\'s social equity and improving mental wellbeing priorities and high level development plans
  • Help to promote the Foundation\\\'s social equity and improving mental wellbeing agendas within Zurich as a way to attract more employees into our work and further increase our impact
  • Provide inputs to communication projects and thought leadership initiatives to leverage on the knowledge generated through the global partnerships under management
  • Contribute to a culture of cross-learning among partners and ensure optimal use of thematic knowledge in the design/implementation of programs
What you bring
  • 5-10 years\\\' experience in youth community-programming, in particular educational-oriented and/or mental wellbeing programs
  • Proven track record of building/overseeing global/regional philanthropic programs involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration skills with an understanding and appreciation for regional and local differences
  • Experience and comfortability working within geographically distributed and functionally diverse work groups is preferred
  • Minimum of Bachelor\\\'s degree is required. Advanced degree preferred
  • Network in the humanitarian/international development field
  • Experience with public-private partnerships
  • Strong understanding on how to successfully navigate global NGOs including UN-agencies
  • Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledgeable about using digital tools and resources to connect supply and demand in the most efficient way.
  • Familiar with digital tools management (e.g. cloud-based solutions, Apps)
