Job Description

You will be a member of the Finance Department, reporting to the Responsible of Accounting Team. In this role, you will evolve in a fast-moving environment where performing a wide variety of tasks with a strong focus on accounting and financial reporting. You will use analytics in the day-to-day execution of your work, provide timely and accurate information supporting decision-making and seek to improve processes where possible.
Responsibilities :

• Maintain general ledger, prepare journal entries and produce various accounting schedules,
• Perform month-end account-closing activities and reconciliations,
• Actively participate in the half-year and year-end closing, with responsibility for specific topics and notes to the financial statements,
• Propose and implement solutions to various departments and foreign group entities for accounting issues and queries,
• Adhere to accounting principles and company procedures, contribute to process improvement and ensure compliance with audit requirements,
• Prepare miscellaneous regulatory filings as assigned,
• Actively participate in the implementation of a consolidation software.

• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting,
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting, ideally with within banking or financial sector,
• Fluent in English and French,
• Meticulous, attentive to details, analytical, able to collaborate cross functionally and to work independently on several subjects in parallel, with very good organisation skills to meet tight deadlines,
• Demonstrate a good knowledge and relevant experience in the field of consolidation,
• Strong knowledge and experience with IFRS, Accounting Rules for Banks "ARB-FINMA" and banking regulation is a plus,
• Excellent command of MS Office (Excel in particular),
• Experience with accounting system. Knowledge of Temenos T24, Ivalua and OneStream is a plus.
