Job Description

For our client, a company in the Defense and Space Manufacturing industry based in Zurich, we are looking for an Application Software Specialist for a permanent role.
Place of work: Bubikon, Zurich (Max. 2 days HO)
Your Responsibilities

Technical responsible and support for the implementation or updating of ERP software at our sites
Maintenance, expansion, testing, support, and interface management of the applications (SolidWorks, EPLAN, Enterprise PDM, etc.)
Analysis of requirements and optimization of operational processes
Coordinate and evaluate of new tools, e.g., DMS
User support and training
Participate in development projects
Documentation of systems and processes

Your Profile

Education as an Application Developer EFZ with a focus on software development or a degree in IT
Practical experience with ERP/PDM systems and understanding of cross-module integration
Programming skills: strong experience with VBA, basic knowledge of SQL, C#, and Python
Excellent German and English skills
Systematic and analytical thinking, as well as strong process understanding
Problem-solving skills and a high level of service orientation
Willingness to travel approximately 25% (several weeks at a time)
