Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning and implementing environmental, health, and safety related compliance programs and/or projects
Ensures compliance with federal, provincial and municipal regulations and corporate policy and guidelines
Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company standards
Provides training and education to employees on EHS matters and promotes a culture of safety within the organization
Undertakes most difficult projects, assessments and solutions
Leading, developing and managing EHS Team als Teamleader
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
8+ years' relevant experience including experience at a manufacturing site
Thorough knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
Large pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing experience
