Job Description

For our client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced, motivated Azure Cloud Architect.
Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Azure Cloud Architect to help shape the architecture of a new, cloud-native trading platform. The role involves addressing key challenges such as security, red zone integration, NSG rules, and ingress strategies, while also evaluating potential WMPC connectivity.
They are seeking a strong communicator with the drive to challenge the status quo and push solutions forward in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Ihre Aufgaben:

• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support for a cloud-native trading platform
• Address and resolve security and integration challenges (e.g., DMZ, NSG rules, ingress)
• Evaluate and potentially redesign the integration approach for WMPC connections
• Collaborate with distributed teams
• Review and challenge existing infrastructure and architectural decisions
• Ensure best practices in Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and service mesh implementation

Ihr Profil:

• Proven experience in setting up large-scale cloud data centers
• Deep expertise in Azure Cloud Architecture and AKS best practices
• Strong understanding of DMZ, Service Mesh (Istio), and Terraform
• Solid grasp of DevOps concepts and ability to review Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Ability to critically assess and improve current architecture and implementation
• Experience with Unix, Shell scripting, Ansible, and Python
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
