Introduction
Beaumier will open it's first 5* hotel in Switzerland in the Autumn of 2024, as part of its global expansion.
The Grand Hotel Belvedere in Wengen is a 5*- Lifestyle hotel existing of two historical buildings, with 90 rooms and suites, 2 restaurants,2 bars and a Spa.
Your tasks
As a Barback, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Assist in daily bar setup and ensure all stations are fully stocked before service begins.
Prepare and batch homemade syrups and infusions according to the cocktail list specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the prep area and bar stations.
Support bartenders by restocking ingredients, garnishes, ice, and glassware throughout service.
Perform mise en place for cocktails: juicing, cutting garnishes, preparing tools, etc.
Collaborate with bartenders to ensure smooth and efficient cocktail execution.
Assist with drink running during service, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to guests.
Collect used glassware and keep the bar area tidy and ready for service at all times.
Ensure all hygiene, food safety, and 5-star hotel standards are strictly followed.
Help with bar breakdown, cleaning, and stock rotation at the end of each shift.
Requirements

• A strong service orientation and independent way of working
• Flexibility - your position includes weekend and holiday shifts
• Good manners and a high degree of quality awareness
• Open-mindedness, a sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of English. Other foreign language skills are an advantage
