Responsibilities


Ensures timely, complete and accurate processing of relevant information, including performing all relevant controls within retained organization within Corporate Bank Operations (Cash Operations, Trade Finance, Loan Operations and Debt Capital Markets). Undertake time critical, complex or regulatory tasks and must ensure the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate. Works with technology teams in development and testing of new system functions and modules. Supports during IT issues and incidents Contributes to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions. Builds and maintains relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level, in particular around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks. Undertakes periodic reviews of the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes within own area of responsibility to identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency and performance. Regularly reviews Key Operating Procedures to ensure consistency and manage communication of changes. Provides oversight for reconciliations, reviewing, quality assurance spot checks and signing-off as appropriate. Personally resolves complex or escalated queries (based on in depth knowledge of products and systems). Adheres to Bank Policies and Procedures and drives compliance within the team. Coordinates and participates in User Acceptance Testing Validates document archive inventory Conduct risk assessment reviews Supports with internal and external audits when needed
Skills


Similar experience in another Corporate Banking institution Prior experience with payment repairs, funds release, investigation & reconciliation. Prior experience collaborating with money market & treasury functions Prior knowledge of Swift to XML ISO migration Have basic knowledge of coding in C, C++ or Python and is able independently develop local automation tools Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage) Product and system knowledge in either Trade Finance, Loan Operations or Cash Management Customer service focused Have worked in a global setup with teams contributing from multiple countries & location Able to effectively assess and mitigate process risks and dependencies Able to work well, apply sound judgment and make timely decisions under pressure Proactive and self-driven Highly organized and agile Ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency during day-to-day work Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members Strong team player and flexible in terms of availability to cover peaks or absences
