Your tasks

• As Business Analyst, you support commercial insurance finance within a group wide project to implement a unified information model for finance data and a group wide finance IT landscape
• Coordinate between the Group Finance programs Unified Information Model (UIM) and Digital Finance Core (DFC) on the one side and the Commercial Insurance Finance stakeholders being impacted by the changes on the other side
• Self-sufficient way of working within the mandate
• Participate in coordination meetings, sounding sessions, etc. collecting requirements and representing CI Finance, as well as defending CI Finances positions and interests.
• Support in creating impact assessments, coordination with impacted stakeholders
• Provide clear direction towards different workstreams and business units, including on technical accounting/actuarial/systems matters
• Foster cross-functional collaboration mindset across the organization
• Select and implement the appropriate project management methods

Must have competences

• 5 + years of experience of working as a Business Analyst
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Services industry or Financial Consulting
• Experience in working in project team that have executed waterfall and/or agile project management approaches
• Experience with conceptual data modelling (establishing common terms and vocabulary)
• Strong organizational, coordination and communication skills
• Aptitude to discuss and challenge key business and technical requirements and design topics
• Forward thinking to determine alternatives and practical solutions
• Ability to deal and communicate with a variety of stakeholders and good negotiation skills
• Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have competences

• Education in Program Managements \\xe2\\x80\\x93 PMP or similar is a plus
• Profound understanding of the end-to-end financial reporting of insurance companies
• Ideally knowledgeable in IFRS 17
• Profound SAP BW/4HANA (including BPC Embedded planning) knowledge would be required in a later phase of the project to implement the academic concepts into solutions
• Fluent written and spoken German
