Your Role - Key Responsibilities:
As Business Development & Sales Manager Biopharma, you will be responsible for building up IMCD's activities in the Swiss Biopharma and Biotech sector. In this role, you will identify and engage customers, define go-to-market strategies, and work closely with internal stakeholders and international product managers. A key part of your responsibility will be to evaluate the fit between IMCD's current Biopharma offering - covering upstream processing, downstream purification, and formulation ingredients - and the specific technological and regulatory needs of the Swiss market, thereby identifying gaps and opportunities for portfolio expansion.
The role is ideal for a self-driven individual who combines scientific understanding with commercial execution. A minimum of 60% of your time will be dedicated to active customer engagement.
