About the job





Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Culinary Department, the Chef de Partie is responsible for state-of-the-art culinary experience for our colleagues. The Chef de Partie reports to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef.




This full-time role as a chef for our staff restaurant requires a high level of responsibility and runs from Monday to Friday, with an annual salary of 65'000.00 CHF. As a chef, you will be responsible for the following tasks:




Ensuring the flawless preparation, quality, and appealing presentation of our food in accordance with our high-quality standards Ensuring that food waste is kept to a minimum Providing creative support in developing a new, varied menu for our staff canteen Coordinating with the supervisor to request goods and checking the daily receipt of goods Ensuring daily adherence to hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines



As a Chef for our staff restaurant, we expect you to have:




Extensive cooking experience Eye for detail and creativity - to bring your culinary signature to the table Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Strong self-management skills - to independently organize your work area High level of commitment, with a structured, results-oriented, and independent working style High quality awareness Very good knowledge of German or English
