For our pharmaceutical client in Basel, we are looking for a Clean Room Solutions and Global Category Specialist, who manages the procurement category management activities in investment projects and coordinates with Capex Lead buyers the planning and execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

\\n

• \\n
• Execution and updates of overall Category Strategy\\n
• Management of demand, supply and capacity with key suppliers and stakeholders,Equipment and Materials Installation Works, Clean Room Solutions\\n
• Supplier Relationship Management with key partners\\n
• Monitoring markets for technological and regulatory trends\\n
• Scanning market and internal stakeholder for identifying, analyzing and mitigating risks\\n
• Delivering regular reports on market intelligence for lead time and prices\\n
• Development of purchasing execution strategies for the categories and projects\\n
• Leading or supporting Procurement of Equipment and Materials, Installation Works, Clean Room Solutions on projects, as required.\\n
• Strategic and operational procurement tasks, including\\n

Requirements:

\\n
\\n

\\n

• \\n
• Education: Technical or Commercial training (Uni or FH) or. Preferred area of study: Process engineering, chemical engineering, business management, project management, supply chain, electrical or Computer Engineering.\\n
• At least 7 years of experience in plant construction as well as in the areas of purchasing, sales, contract management and project management related with Clean Room Solutions and EI&C.\\n
• At least 3 years pharma or biotech industry or similar environment with sterile environment (e.g. semiconductors for clean rooms).\\n
• At least 2 years experience doing tendering of complex and large E&IC, clean room or cold room packages in GMP environment for the relevant industry mentioned above\\n
• High expertise in regional (EU and UK) and local market (DACH region) for relevant categorie\\n
• At least 2 years` experience with category management, meaning has done at least once a category strategy and implemented.\\n
