We are looking for a Commercial Excellence & Analytics Lead to join our headquarters and production site in Geneva. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working within a team of 4, you are at the heart of the company strategy, bringing comprehensible insights into the organization and transforming them into relevant recommendations to support growth plans. Your mission is to unite cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end marketing excellence, establish continuous improvement cycles and foster a performance culture linked to data-driven choices.
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and patient/HCP insights to inform strategic decision-making at all levels of the organization
Anticipate market evolution and future industry trends by leveraging data and analytics to identify growth opportunities, risks, and potential threats to product performance
Incorporate data from field observations, leadership and performance metrics to generate insights and make recommendations accordingly
Define, build, and optimize KPI frameworks, dashboards and reporting processes, ensuring clear, actionable insights are disseminated across the organization
Build up and further develop key competitive intelligence initiatives
Co-lead the development of the global brand strategy in partnership with the Brand Lead, covering short- to long-term horizons
Be responsible for marketing excellence, leading and coordinating the execution of efficient action plans from global to local
Translate global brand strategy into actionable local operational plans, track execution through defined KPIs, and support the deployment of digital and multichannel business models
Supervise and develop an analyst (trainee)
To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
MBA, MD and/or scientific academic education, ideally complemented with a marketing / insights degree
At least 8 years' experience in a similar position within the pharmaceutical industry, including experience managing cross-functional projects and teams at a global level
Strong knowledge of primary market research, insights & data management, with good financial skills
Proficient in Excel, Power BI and statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, Stata); preferably with previous experience using IQVIA, Veeva, Google Analytics, MS Project/Asana
Fluent in English; French and/or German an asset
Willing to travel as business travel is required for this position, approximately 15% of working time
