We are seeking a talented and motivated Commissioning Manager to join our high-impact life science and data center projects in Zurich, Switzerland.

Role Overview:Develop, implement, and manage the commissioning plan, including creating the project Cx implementation plan, witnessing schedules, commissioning asset & tag trackers, issue resolution logs, and training plans, ensuring all activities are completed on time and in line with approved test packs Coordinate and oversee all commissioning activities in collaboration with mechanical, electrical, controls leads, covering equipment power-on, start-up, and functional testing throughout each commissioning stage, including procurement and design phases Provide regular updates to the Project Manager through formal progress reports and trackers, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards Lead commissioning meetings with stakeholders and the project team to review progress, resolve issues, and maintain alignment on project milestones and responsibilities. Manage client relationships by ensuring commissioning activities meet project and performance objectives, coordinating witnessing and training sessions, and supporting system verification and smooth handover Ensure complete and approved commissioning documentation at all project stages, promoting best practices, continuous improvement, and full adherence to safety, quality and owner requirements


Role Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline Field Experience: Proven experience in commissioning management within the construction industry, ideally on large-scale projects (Data Centers, Life Sciences projects, etc.), with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Technical Skills: Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems (BMS), with solid knowledge of Swiss/International building standards including ASHRAE, SIA, VKF, and Suva. Proficient in the use of commissioning software tools and interpreting engineering drawings, test protocols, and system integration procedures Language: Fluency in German and English Workstyle: Strong work ethic with a passion for construction. Proactive, solution-focused with a hands-on approach. Effective coordination within the team and clear communication, and collaboration with all stakeholders
