Country Head Ethics Risk & Compliance (German/English)

The Country Head Ethics, Risk & Compliance is primarily responsible for developing, overseeing, implementing, maintaining and communicating an effective and efficient Ethics, Risk & Compliance program with all necessary standards, processes and procedures in Switzerland in alignment with the region, cluster, division and global strategy. You ensure that the processes are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations. You ensure the country has the right structure and people skills in place to facilitate highest standards of ethics, risk and compliance. In this position you will be part of the Country Leadership Team and report to the Country Manager.

Ihre Hauptaufgaben

Ensuring strong representation for the Ethics, Risk and Compliance (ERC) Function within the Country Leadership Team and that the Country speaks with one voice for ERC related matters

Drive simplification on local SOPs and processes development, and drive innovation across the country ERC program

As member of the Leadership Team, persuade and engage the leaders to continually monitor effectiveness of ERC programs, including cultural drivers of ethical decisions and integrity for continuous improvement

Help shape local culture of Ethics and Compliance with a focus on speak-up culture

Establish the platform for appropriate ethical discussions; partner with leaders / partner functions to drive an ethical culture within the company

Build a highly skilled ERC function within the country, focusing on building functional competencies and business partnering, while demonstrating the company\\\'s values & behaviors and cultural aspiration

Lead, in collaboration with the rest of Division/Leadership team, the compliance program / risk management process, identify, and manage risks in manner that drives the business forward to best serve customers and patients including but not limited to:

Conduct Country Compliance Risk Assessment (RAM)

Organize, facilitate and coordinate Country enterprise risk management (ERM) workshops, ensuring clear ownership of risk is assigned with clear mitigation plans

Oversee business continuity / framework planning and implementation in Country

Sponsor and oversee disclosure processes and ensure implementation of new guidelines

Sign-off according to transparency processes and accountable for publication of reports

Oversee third party risk management (TPRM) / third party engagement related to ethics and compliance and build consensus, identify strategic priorities and directions

Help in investigations conducted by Global Security and other appropriate units on ethics and compliance issues received on the various intake sources and follow up to ensure appropriate action for resolution of issues and systems improvements, and agile reporting to internal and external stakeholders

Manage local compliance-related speak up matters in a timely & effective manner with appropriate remediation activities and report them in case management system

Actively engage with local external and internal ERC networks to shape and influence the environment

Conduct local communication, training, and monitoring activities to support awareness, detection and prevention goals

Lead in developing, refining, and adapting quality standards related to ethics, risk and compliance program to meet evolving requirements

Ihr Profil

University Degree

Minimum (!) 5 years of compliance experience within the life sciences industry (Pharma, Biotech, MedTech or similar)

Comprehensive compliance risk assessment conducted, with effective remediation actions completed in a timely manner

Able to valuate and provide recommendations to ensure adequate ERC structure and resources

Fluent in English and German written and spoken
