As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our client's critical IT infrastructure by designing, building, and enhancing secure systems as a skilled Security Engineer. Your expertise will drive the creation and approval of robust container and virtualization solutions, ensuring our operations remain resilient and protected. You will actively engage in high-impact ICT projects, offering expert consultation to embed cybersecurity at every stage. By developing, installing, and seamlessly integrating security components, you'll strengthen their operational backbone. Crafting innovative security architectures and concepts, you'll lay the foundation for a fortified digital environment. Your forward-thinking ideas will help evaluate and incorporate cutting-edge technologies, keeping us ahead of emerging threats. Additionally, you'll identify, analyze, and document critical ICT security requirements, ensuring our systems remain secure and compliant in a rapidly evolving landscape.
To join our client - be equipped with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Advanced training or certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to staying current in the field.
  • Extensive professional experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 4 years specializing in security engineering, showcasing expertise in designing and implementing secure systems.
  • Deep technical proficiency in Kubernetes security, including securing containerized environments, managing RBAC, and implementing best practices for container orchestration.
  • Strong expertise in DevSecOps engineering, with hands-on experience integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines and fostering a culture of security-by-design.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly evolving environment, with a proactive approach to embracing new challenges.
  • A meticulous and structured work style, paired with a hands-on mentality, ensuring precision and efficiency in delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent command of German, both verbal and written, with strong communication skills; proficiency in English (B2 or higher) is highly desirable.
  • Prior military experience as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is a valuable asset, reflecting leadership, discipline, and strategic thinking.
