Data Modeler

1 year fixed term contract with extension

About the role

As a Data Modeler, you will make an impact by designing and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business processes and analytics. You will be a valued member of the data architecture team and work collaboratively with engineers and analysts.

In this role, you will:

Develop and maintain data models aligned with business requirements. Ensure consistency and integrity of data across systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data standards and governance. Optimize data models for performance and scalability. Document data structures and relationships for technical and business users.

Work model

Hybrid position requiring presence in Zurich, Switzerland.

What you need to have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Strong experience in data modeling for relational and dimensional databases. Proficiency in ER modeling tools and SQL. Knowledge of data warehousing and BI concepts. Understanding of data governance and metadata management.

These will help you stand out

Experience with big data and cloud-based data platforms. Familiarity with data modeling for NoSQL and graph databases. Exposure to master data management solutions. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work in agile environments.
