While small, the Data team is mighty. They provide the information that drive our decisions, build our data culture, and extend our data warehouse. Their work shapes what and how every team in Frontify does what they do best. In their downtime, they're enjoying the good life - spending time with their families, reading French literature, or tending to their gardens.
Your Mission
As a Data Scientist, you'll drive innovation through proactive data discovery and analysis, uncovering insights that answer complex questions. Leveraging the full analytical stack, you'll deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions and analyses. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with stakeholders and team members to develop data products, maintain clear data lineage, and communicate insights for action. Your goal will be to empower decision-making by transforming complex data challenges into actionable intelligence.
Your responsibilities

• You'll develop and apply data products based on the complete customer journey.
• You'll conduct analysis for departments such as Customer Success, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Product Management.
• You'll develop cross-department knowledge to support strategic analyses.
• You'll utilize SQL expertise for advanced data modeling tasks and complement it with R or Python.
• You'll engage in hands-on data modeling, working closely with business stakeholders and other members in the central data team to maintain data integrity and adhere to best practices.
• You'll gather, organize, and document data requirements with clarity and precision.
• You support data projects from concept to completion - aligning them with end-user needs and organizational value.
• You support our central data team to be on top of recent developments in AI.

Your story

• You're comfortable working in a hybrid setup - spending 1-2 days per week in our St. Gallen office.
• You hold a master's degree in a quantitative field (data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, applied economics, etc.).
• You have 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar role, and you're adaptable to work and focus on changing challenges.
• You strive in conducting thorough EDAs to uncover insights and present actionable findings.
• You're proficient in advanced analytics techniques, including PCA, cluster analysis, and regression models.
• You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally with teams like Revenue Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Management to generate insights and support KPI management.
• You have proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and Python or R - with experience in our data technology stack being an added advantage.
• You are creative and have an intrinsic drive to continuously discover further insights.
• You speak English fluently.
