Project:

For a client, we are looking for an

IT System & Cloud Support Specialist

in Bern. You will be responsible for independently processing support and optimization requests, analyzing incidents, maintaining systems on-premises and in the cloud, creating reports and dashboards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT systems.

Tasks:

Contact point for fault reports from customers, users and suppliers for various applications 1st and 2nd level support: Receiving, analyzing and finding solutions for problems Proactive system monitoring and initiation of optimizations in applications and systems Create reports and dashboards for transparency about spending and usage Support for systems in the cloud and on-premises Administration of Windows Server platforms FinOps: Analysis of financial data, budget preparation, cost optimization, identification and assessment of cloud risks Use of FinOps tools and platforms (e.g., CloudHealth, CloudCheckr)

Qualification:

Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, MS-SQL and system monitoring Experience with AWS Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes is an advantage Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages ??(e.g., Python, SQL) for automation and data analysis Several years of experience in on-premises environments, ideally also cloud experience Interest in applying knowledge for operations, solution design and cloud migration Analytical and solution-oriented approach, customer-oriented
