As Director, Core Europe Region (CER) Market Access Pharmaceutical and Vaccines, Oncology Alliances you will be primarily, responsible for adapting and implementing strategies, projects and market support to our company products within the above company portfolios. In addition, you will manage Market Access relations with Oncology and potentially other Alliance partners, maintaining firewalls to our company proprietary product teams. You will be reporting into the Executive Director, CER Pharmaceutical and Vaccines, Oncology Alliances Access Lead.

Main Responsibilities:

Vaccines and Pharma CER
  • Lead regional Access and Pricing strategies for maintaining and improving patient access to and the value of our products.
  • Lead regional Market Access (MAx) support for countries and global MAx for launching approved and upcoming Pharmaceutical and Vaccines products.
  • Support global, regional and market teams in all Pharmaceutical and Vaccines Access and Pricing matters including Hospital/Specialty, Antibiotics, Primary Care, Immunology and Vaccines portfolio.
  • Work closely with pricing teams to ensure coherent pricing strategies across all markets in order to maximize value recognition and access.
  • Consolidate market access and pricing assumptions into forecasts in Pharmaceutical and Vaccines for CER Management.
  • Price Approval Request Form support for markets (as needed).
  • Track global and market developments, incl. competitors, for updating Sr. Mgmt. and informing strategic decision making.
  • Counsel markets in Access strategies, best practice models and negotiations, etc
  • Share best practice across the European Union and Canada region and provide regional and market input into our global product access plans to ensure the needs of European and Canadian payers are met.
  • Align CER Market Access business priorities and deliverables, consolidate markets` Planning and Review needs and inputs, and communicate them to global teams (Global Market Access, Centre for Observational and Real-World Evidence, Global Medical and Scientific Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Manufacturing and Supply Division).
Oncology Access Alliances
  • Manage Market Access relations with Oncology and potentially other Alliance partners.
  • Navigate our market teams in their relations with Alliance partners.
  • Develop and implement guidance for regional and local Alliance collaborations.
  • Support Commercial and Finance in Alliance products forecasting.
Your Profile:
  • Master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in business administration, health economics, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in market access, health economics, outcomes research, or pricing in the pharmaceutical industry, incl. in the area of pharmaceutical and vaccines.
  • Evidence of strategic and analytical thought.
  • Proven track record of success in executing access strategies.
  • Proven ability to establish influential relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate the market access environment, with demonstrated success in identifying optimal routes to reimbursement that are consistent with global strategy in a rapidly evolving landscape, addressing country requirements for Health Technology Assessment and tender processes.
  • Capability to interpret information across customers to influence external decision-makers.
  • Ability to leverage networks and information across digital, access, Centre for Observational and Real-World Evidence, policy, and marketing.
  • Experience in leading with informal authority, managing through ambiguity, and ability to communicate clearly in a matrixed environment.
  • A contemporary perspective of the business environment that enables a fresh outlook to the company\\xe2\\x80\\x99s business model and creative approach to meet future demands.
