Embedded Hardware Engineering Intern

Job Description

As part of the Hardware-Platform team, you will be working on a HW RF project for our 4G/5G portfolio, supporting the design and testing of existing RFICs with SoC and FPGAs. Hands-on lab experience with instruments like Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer and Power analyzer are fundamental for this job as well as experience with Python programming. PCB design (ideally in Altium) and a steady hand for occasionally soldering tiny components are a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Programming and running automated test measurements for RFIC characterization Support PCB design from Schematic to Production and automated assembly (previous PCB design experience mandatory) Optimizing RF performance on existing and new products Generate, maintain, improve Python Documentation for HW Platform Support the analysis of issues & isolate whether RFIC, FW, tool, test equipment or HW issues Solder small prototype PCBs reliably by hand or with reflow oven Work in close collaboration with Analog and SW team

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

BSc or MSc student in RF or Embedded Engineering Familiar with common serial interfaces I2C, SPI, UART Python, C++, Matlab Altium Basic RF knowledge
