Position Summary
The Nestle Product Technology Centre Coffee (NPTC Coffee) is the leading R&D organization that discover, develop and deploy coffee and beverage products and technologies for in-home and out-of-home consumption. It consists of units in Konolfingen (CH), Marysville (USA), Orbe (CH) and Singapore and provide new products and processes to all Nestle markets worldwide.

As an
R&D Sustainability Engineering Intern
, you will be part of the Site Engineering team working on activities to support our sustainability commitments. Our Orbe R&D site has two targets:Improve the CO2 footprint of the site
Validate technologies & concepts to support our factories reducing their CO2 footprint

A Day in the Life of a R&D Sustainability Engineering Intern
Consolidate the current hot water capacity need for the site (process and building)
Working on heat recovery projects
Suggest an optimization strategy to balance/prioritize the current supply network
Develop a comprehensive design with scope, technologies & costs while contacting external suppliers
Support the maintenance team to drive & improve the utilities dashboard
Be part of the local sustainability team as well as the R&D sustainability network
Support the sustainability champion by preparing documents, presentations & supports for meetings with the management
Create communications to increase sustainability awareness towards employees
What will make you successful
Currently studying a Master's degree in Engineering (Energetic, Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
Autonomy, good communication skills and team spirit
Good technical skills in utility management (generation, distribution, consumption)
Utilities distribution design and management (steam, water, natural gas)
Energy monitoring
Fluent in French and English
