WinGD is looking for a

Expert Engine Dynamics & Alignment

Responsibilities:

Alignment calculation & engineering of 2-stroke combustion engines on ship installation with their direct coupled propulsion shaftlines as well as on test bed, analysis of measurement results.
Various kinds of vibration calculations & measurements Investigation of alignment & vibration problems, work out solutions in cooperation with shipyards and owners as well as Design & Development and Product Engineering Support shipyards and owners as well as Design & Development in alignment and vibration optimized design Support licensees, shipyards and owners in alignment & vibration related topics Collaboration with Chinese Stakeholders within the China State Shipbuilding Corporation Group

Requirements:

Practical work experience with machine building, fitting and alignment BSc Mechanical Engineering (HTL / FH / Ing. ETH or equivalent) Theoretical knowledge of alignment, dynamics, mechanical systems and vibrations Good knowledge in measurement equipment and sensors of advantage Good interpersonal and communication skills Working experience with combustion engines of advantage Willing to travel and work abroad (approx. 30 days/year) Fluent in English (written & oral) is a must, German appreciated
