What you'll do:
As Finance Director you will take on a broad remit covering finance oversight for several international business units. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing complex reporting cycles-ensuring that all financial data is delivered accurately and on time-and acting as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external auditors. In this role you will also oversee statutory compliance matters such as tax filings and payroll administration across multiple countries. By providing clear guidance to your team members and collaborating effectively with colleagues worldwide, you will help ensure that the organisation remains at the forefront of industry best practice.

• Lead Finance Operations: Supervise all finance and controlling activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial and management reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Enhance Financial Systems: Develop and optimize financial processes, tools, and systems to meet evolving business and regulatory needs.
• Ensure Compliance and Controls: Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including tax filings and regulatory reporting across jurisdictions.
• Support Audits and Payroll: Manage statutory accounts, tax submissions, audits, and oversee accurate payroll for international operations.
• Drive Strategic Insights and Team Culture: Collaborate across departments to deliver financial insights and foster a motivated, accountable, and high-performing finance team.

What you bring:
To excel as Finance Director in this role you will bring extensive experience gained from senior finance positions within complex international organisations. Your background should reflect not only technical mastery of accounting standards like IFRS but also hands-on involvement with statutory reporting requirements across different jurisdictions. Your ability to balance analytical rigour with empathetic leadership ensures that those around you feel supported while striving for collective achievement.

• Strong Educational and Professional Background: Master's degree in finance or controlling with over 10 years of experience, including 5+ years in managerial roles within multinational settings.
• Expert Knowledge: In-depth understanding of finance, IFRS, controlling, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Power BI and advanced Excel; SAP experience is a strong asset.
• Leadership and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on inclusive team building and effective collaboration across all levels.
• Results-Oriented and Adaptable: Committed to quality and ethics, resilient under pressure, and adaptable to shifting priorities and deadlines.
