Exclusive Search Mandate: On behalf of our client, a publicly listed company in the eastern part of Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager. As the current job holder is being internally promoted, we are looking for a Financial Controller Europe for the next possible date.

Tasks

• Management > Together with your direct report, you are responsible for the financial accounting of the Swiss entities, including the Holding company
• Planning > In cooperation with other departments you prepare the liquidity, budget and forecast planning
• Alignment > You are responsible for the reconciliation of the accounting standards according to OR and IFRS, respectively to the group-wide standards
• Reporting > You take responsibility for the monthly and quarterly reporting as well as the preparations for internal and external audits
• Projects > You take the lead when it comes to implementing group-wide accounting projects based on the \"Best Practice\" approach and have an active part in the global roll-out
• Leader > You act as a role model with your positive attitude and leverage your skills to your employee

Requirements

• Background > You have approx. 5-10 years of relevant work experience in an international company and are well-versed with OR and IFRS framework
• Brainpower > You possess a Federal Diploma of Higher Education or a BSc diploma with a specialisation in Finance & Accounting, any continuing education (e.g. Expert in Accounting and Controlling or similar) would be an advantage
• Personality > You motivate other people, whether reporting directly to you or as a project member with your hands-on and effective collaboration. In an international environment, you interact with the necessary sensitivity
• Multicultural > In an international environment, you are able to interact with the necessary sensitivity. In addition to English, you are also fluent in German
• Teamplayer > You are convinced that working as a team is the best way to progress and apply your interpersonal and professional strengths in a goal-oriented way
