Founded on 14th April 1900 in Paris, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for cycling.
Its mission is to develop and supervise cycling in all its forms and for everybody, as a competitive sport, as a healthy recreational activity and as a means of transport and having fun. Additionally, the UCI promotes a number of its own events, including the UCI Road World Championships, an iconic annual event, and a wide range of other UCI World Championships and World Cups across the various disciplines. It is based in Aigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre.
For its Finance Department, the UCI is looking for a:

Mission :
Reporting to the Head of Finance of the UCI, the Financial Controller is responsible for managing, monitoring, and analyzing the organization's financial performance. He/she ensures the reliability of accounting data, compliance of financial operations, and contributes to optimizing management tools and processes to support strategic decision-making.
Main Responsibilities :
Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with the relevant departments
Prepare monthly reports and dashboards tailored to the needs of various stakeholder
Ensure compliance and reliability of accounting operations in collaboration with accounting assistants, particularly through the monitoring of financial transactions and annual closings
Supervise and optimize the collection and recovery processes
Maintain and update internal control system documentation
Prepare financial statements and coordinate external audits
Ensure tax compliance and adherence to accounting standards
Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial tools (accounting, reporting, dashboards, process automation)
Participate in ad hoc projects (financial modeling, analysis, business cases)
Profile :
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, financial control, and/or audit
Good knowledge of SWISS GAAP RPC
Proven experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools
Fluent in French (spoken and written) - minimum C1 level
Fluent in English (spoken and written) - minimum B2 level
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with department heads
Team-oriented mindset and ability to work independently
Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment
Innovative mindset and ability to propose improvements to financial tools
