Pictet Wealth Management (PWM) combines more than 200 years of Swiss banking heritage with global investment expertise. The Partner-owned financial services group offers a comprehensive service for wealthy individuals and families, including discretionary and advisory investment solutions and family office services.

The PWM Equity Research team is responsible for the selection of core investment ideas that are then implemented in different mandates.

As a member of this team, you will contribute to be working essentially on the financial sector in developed markets (Europe and US).

Your role
  • Analysing equity investments in the financial industry (MSCI financials) of developed markets,
  • Bottom-up in-depth analysis and modelling of companies, whilst understanding the top-down/macro context and the outlook.
  • Developing convictions on equities, reflected in investment cases, prepared and communicated internally and externally.
  • Communicating broadly on specifics of the financial industry: upstream to prepare cases and downstream to regularly comment on them.
  • Generating performance against a pre-set benchmark, individually and within a team.
  • Maintaining a strong compliance culture, ensuring optimal compliance and risk management in compliance with all relevant local laws, regulatory requirements, in-house directives and procedures, as well as possessing adequate knowledge to apply them effectively and ensure fair treatment of all clients; while at the same time adhering to Pictet\\\'s mission and core values across activities with a high degree of professional competency and awareness.
Your profile
  • Master\\\'s degree in finance, economics or similar form a university, or business school. CFA, CIIA, CAIA or equivalent would be a plus.
  • 2-7 years\\\' experience in analytical work required to make equity financial investments (accounting, buy/sell-side research, etc).
  • Good knowledge of Excel and quantitative modelling (VBA an additional asset) as well as ideally some knowledge of Bloomberg.
  • Proven working exposure to and knowledge of the wealth management industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Capacity to cover a wide range of different topics and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proactive, resilient, and results oriented.
  • Strong team spirit and ability to partner with other teams.
  • Fluent in English with a good command of/fluency in French. Other languages would be a plus.
  • Strong sense of ethics aligned with Pictet\\\'s values and partnership culture.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.
