About the Role




As a Graduate in

Financial Governance

, you will play a key role in

supporting the integrity of our financial reporting framework and capital adequacy processes

. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to IFRS External Reporting, Swiss Solvency Test (SST), and Solvency II (SII) requirements, while developing a strong understanding of how financial, actuarial, and risk data come together to support decision-making at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities

Support Financial & Regulatory Reporting

processes from end-to-end, gaining valuable insights into compliance requirements

Strengthen Governance & Control

frameworks to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy

Enable Process & Tool Integration

to improve efficiency and data quality across finance functions

Collaborate with Global Stakeholders

across Finance, Actuarial, Risk and Internal Audit departments

About the Team




You would join the Financial Governance team within the Group Reporting & Investor Relations Department. The mission of Financial Governance is to enable trust and integrity of Swiss Re's Group Financial Statements and Reporting through a strong control environment. We are a young team of Finance professionals with international backgrounds, demonstrating high integrity and proactive attitudes to drive forward Swiss Re's strategy of building an efficient and resilient finance operating model.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements

Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) with up to 3 years of professional experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex processes and data Excellent communication skills and confidence to work with colleagues across finance, risk, and actuarial functions Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude Excellent oral and written English skills

These are additional nice to haves

Strong interest in financial processes, governance, risk management, or regulatory reporting (IFRS, SST, SII) Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and curiosity to develop digital skills (e.g., Power BI, process tools, programming languages) Previous internship or work experience in finance, audit, accounting, or insurance/reinsurance Additional language skills (German or another European language)
The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
