Job description:

Support the preparation of financial statements for the organisation, its pension fund, investment pools, and affiliated entities.
Maintain and enhance accounting processes for daily operations, period-end closings, reconciliations, and controls.
Assist with annual audits, addressing queries and ensuring timely resolution.
Create and analyse key financial, management, and budget reports, including disclosures.
Contribute to finance system upgrades, process improvements, and internal control enhancements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, offering cross-departmental support.
Review and update finance-related policies and procedures.
Perform other assigned duties as needed.
This is a business continuity (BC) critical role requiring regular BC preparedness testing.

Requirements:

A university degree in accounting, business administration, or a quantitative discipline.
A primary accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, Wirtschaftsprufer or similar qualification, or equivalent experience).
Proven experience with and strong skills in financial reporting and accounting in an international environment, preferable in the financial industry.
Strong IT skills, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skill
