Expert Clinical Operations Manager
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and driven Expert Clinical Operations Manager to join our clients global team. This pivotal role is responsible for supervising operational trial activities and managing international teams to ensure the successful delivery of Phase II and Phase III clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global, cross-functional teams in the execution of complex clinical trials from start-up through close-out.
  • Represent Clinical Operations at the project level, contributing operational insight to strategic planning.
  • Oversee study budgets, timelines, and operational deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Supervise the selection and management of External Service Providers (ESPs) and ensure high-quality vendor oversight.
  • Ensure proper documentation, submissions, and compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage clinical trial site selection strategies and country planning in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead operational risk management and contingency planning efforts to mitigate challenges.
  • Support and mentor Clinical Operations staff and ensure continuous development within the team.
  • Act as a Senior Clinical Operations Manager when required, including leading planning and trial-related activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare (or equivalent university degree).
  • Minimum 10 years' experience managing operational aspects of global Phase II/III trials.
  • At least 3 years in a senior-level Clinical Operations Management role or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing large, cross-functional and multicultural teams in a matrix environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of ICH-GCP, CTMS, eTMF, and EDC systems.
  • Strong expertise in vendor management, including performance and budget oversight.
  • Ability to lead meetings, communicate effectively with senior leadership, and drive strategic decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
