The Head of Country Rewards, Employee Relations & Eastern C&B/SD is responsible for developing and executing a country competitive compensation strategy and comprehensive total rewards programs aligned with business objectives, and for shaping the future of our Eastern C&B and Service Delivery strategies and implementation. This role conducts market analysis, manages benefits administration, ensures compliance, and utilizes data-driven insights to enhance employee engagement and retention across the region. The employee relationships is a key attribute to this function by maintaining and developing a strong social partnership at European Work Council and Eastern Swiss levels.

Your key responsibilities
  • Design and manage Eastern country-specific compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and employee benefits packages.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits. Regularly review and benchmark compensation practices to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Develop and execute an effective service delivery strategy for HR operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of HR services.
  • Oversee HR operational processes such as payroll, benefits administration, Pension, HRIS, Employee data management, and Compliance reporting.
  • Continuously improve service delivery processes and systems to enhance efficiency and employee experience
  • Stewardship European Work Council (EWC) relations. Set up EWC meetings and related content of information and consultation

You bring
  • Bachelor\\\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master\\\'s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience (10-15+ years) in compensation and benefits management, with a focus on country-specific practices and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to compensation, benefits, union relations and related content of information and consultation.
  • Experience in HR service delivery, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent understanding of compensation and benefits design, benchmarking, and market analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR service delivery strategies and processes.
Important note

This job title is temporary and will be adjusted once the job grading structure for the new Group will be adopted (covering among others: grades\\\' design, job evaluations, calibration, and job titles\\\' nomenclature). Until these adjustments are finalized, current compensation packages will be grandfathered. This temporary period will last not more than 24 months for the legacy DSM Executives or legacy FIR SLT members, and not more than 12-18 months for all other employees.
