• Lead, coach and motivate the SAP Application Team
• As part of the global IT Management team you participate actively in the creation, improvements and implementation of the IT strategy, the global IT standards, and IT processes for the entire IT organization
• Ensure that the entire SAP Application environment is represented in the IT Management Team
• Ownership for product related applications, specifically the core applications
• Ensure application portfolio meets business requirements and fulfills end-user expectations globally by organizing advisory boards
• Support global process owners actively to improve global standardization and optimization, for both process and data management aspects
• Work with the Business divisions to setup process owner and key user structures
• Co-responsible for data concepts and secure information for the relevant processes with the goals of customer-oriented market performance, optimal manufacturing processes and fast turnaround time with little support effort
• Provide project lead or support for evaluation, acquisition and implementation of enhanced or new functionalities
• Review existing applications and architecture periodically to develop strategies for improvements using lean principles
• Operations of the product applications
• Manage yearly budget for the application portfolio
• Contract management with application service and solution providers

Your qualifications

• Master\\\'s or Bachelor\\\'s degree in engineering, computer science, or comparable
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Background in the logistics environment
• Professional experience in a management role in a SAP-related IT environment
• Engaging and enthusiastic communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• You promote innovation as well as the professional skills of your employees
• Strong and authentic leadership personality with coaching and mentoring skills
• Experienced managing large, complex and cross-functional project
• Fluency in German and English
