MISSION & CONTEXT:
We are looking for a highly motivated Head of Store Concept & Visual Merchandising Travel Retail EMEA & Americas to join our Travel Retail Team! As key Concept and Visual Merchandising Leader, you will be accountable for translating L\\\'OCCITANE Group brands\\\' vision and DNA into Travel Retail (TR) stores, whilst leading and inspiring the Store Concept & Visual Merchandising Team EMEA & Americas and ensuring that all activity is completed within budget and time frames.
The position is based in Plan-Les-Ouates (near Geneva) and reports to the Head of Global Travel Retail Marketing with a dotted line to the Global Art Director.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
1. Pilot Store Design Strategy
  • Lead the Store Concept Team to design and oversee all L\\\'Occitane Group Brands TR stores across Europe, Middle East and Americas regions;
  • Responsible for creating or adapting global design guidelines in the regional roll-out of all the projects;
  • Lead and manage store design projects from concept development to execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, relevancy vs markets and clients, in a cost-efficient and budget-conscious and timely manner;
  • Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
2. Pilot Store Layout and Visual Merchandising
  • Create captivating and functional store layouts, 3Ds and renderings that optimize traffic flow, maximize product exposure, and enhance the overall shopping experience;
  • Build and pilot effective visual merchandising strategies, ensuring that product displays, and signage are aligned with the brand and drive sales;
  • Incorporate customer insights and behavior analysis into store design decisions, optimizing the placement of products and fixtures;
  • Utilize innovative design elements, lighting, and materials to create visually appealing and engaging store environments.
3. Build a Consistent Sustainable & Innovative Strategy for TR Store Design and Visual Merchandising
  • Aligned with the global TR sustainability plan, devise and implement a specific sustainability plan including specific targets and goals for Concept and Visual Merchandising. Adapt current concept to meet those requirements;
  • Support the development of specific 360 campaign with eco-designed and eco-produced Concept projects (animation table, semi-personalization, SPP and HPP);
  • Develop prototypes of stores, fixtures signages and all other elements related to store design with a view to innovate and develop new and fresh design concepts;
  • Collaborate with vendors to source materials, fixtures, and furniture that meet design specifications, quality standards, and budgetary requirements.
4. Team Development & Management
  • Strengthen client-centricity - demonstrate strong listening skills, adapt proactively team organization, ways of working and collaboration to meet customers\\\' requests;
  • Communicate closely with the General Manager Travel Retail EMEA & Americas while enhancing synergies with Creative Team in each Brand from the Group;
  • Oversee the work of in-house designers, external agencies, and contractors if required to ensure the successful implementation of store design initiatives;
  • Challenge, coach and develop the Team to make innovative solutions to concept implementation and construction issues.
HOW YOU CAN FIT:
  • Education in Architecture, Retail Design or Visual Merchandising;
  • +4 years\\\' experience in a similar role in cosmetic or luxury retail environments ideally in the Travel Retail industry;
  • Fluent in English; French is a strong plus;
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and 2Ds & 3Ds softwares (SketchUp);
  • Successful track record in leading and developing a team of 3-5 people;
  • Leadership experience working in international organizations;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships in a complex international, multi-cultural and multi-brand context;
  • Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities and to maintain a helicopter view with a hands-on approach and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Travel requirements: available to travel up to 20 %.
