The HR Compensation and Project Manager provides professional compensation, analytical and strategic support for the maintenance and development of compensation, benefits and management information.
Assist with the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs, including the annual bonus and long-term incentive plans
Understand and support Basilea's compensation philosophy and processes, ensuring tight alignment of specific compensation decisions
Participate in and support personnel budgeting, annual salary increase, annual bonus allocation and performance management processes
Prepare and submit data for third party compensation surveys, and use the acquired survey results to benchmark Basilea's competitive position in the market
Manage regular and ad-hoc data reporting in cross-functional collaboration with Finance, including internal and external compensation budgets, cost accruals and share-based remuneration reporting
Provide HR data analysis support and in collaboration with the Head of Global Human Resources, create PowerPoint presentations for corporate and departmental planning and decision making
Prepare all materials for the Board's Compensation Committee meetings including support documentation and data
Prepare the contents of the annual Compensation Report (including compensation-related disclosures) and Annual General Meeting (invitation appendices, data visualization and compliant compensation budgets) in collaboration with the Global Head of Human Resources
Lead the payroll and project team
Your profile
Bachelor Degree in business, economics, or financial accounting accreditation, Master degree or similar education in Human Resources would be an asset
Minimum 4 years of experience in a compensation focused role in a Swiss headquartered company or in consulting/advisory, finance, corporate strategy
Experience in preparation of the Compensation Report (part of the Annual Report) and Annual General Meeting materials related to compensation
Good understanding of HR practices and Swiss payroll, leadership experience would be an asset
Proficient in Word, Excel (macros, vlookups, pivot tables, charts) and PowerPoint
Strong communication and writing skills in English are essential, any other language a benefit
Analytical skills, superior attention to detail and accuracy
Well-organized and structured, able to work both independently and as part of a team
