Interim Head of Group Finance
9 to 12 months contract

What you can expect

• Overall responsibility for monthly closing
• Driving improvements in the Group's financial reporting processes
• Responsible for Group's annual consolidated financial statements
• Delivering monthly and quarterly reports to the Group's lenders in conjunction with the Group Controlling and Group Treasury teams
• Managing the relationship with the external parties providing accounting services for the Group's holding companies in Luxembourg
• Involvement in monthly and annual closing (including annual financial statements review) for holding company entities
• Responsible for managing the Group's compliance with IFRS, being the key contact point and providing guidance to local sites on technical accounting matters
• Working closely with the Group Controlling team to deliver budgets and financial forecasts
• Co-ordination of annual internal audit process
• Co-ordinating with the Group's insurance brokers regarding the global insurance programmes in place
• Ad-hoc projects as requiered
• Leading and mentoring a team of 2 or more finance professionals

To successfully master this role, we are looking for the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• 10 years post qualification experience in financial reporting
• Demonstrated proficiency in group consolidation and financial statement preparation under IFRS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Team player
