We are seeking a 6-month intern to join our Private Equity Directs Technology Growth team, based in either Zug (Switzerland) or London (UK), with an expected start date in January 2026 (flexible start date).
This internship offers an exceptional opportunity for a high-performing and ambitious individual to gain hands-on investing experience with one of the world's leading private markets investors. You will join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team investing in fast-growing technology companies across Europe and beyond.
As part of the internship, you will support the Private Equity Directs Technology Growth team across all aspects of the investment lifecycle - from sourcing and evaluating new opportunities to executing transactions and supporting portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
Assessing and valuing prospective investment opportunities in the technology sector (e.g. B2B software, vertical SaaS, cybersecurity, AI applications, etc.)
Building and reviewing detailed financial models to analyze business plans, growth equity capital raises, and investment returns
Participating actively in due diligence workstreams (financial, commercial, product, tax, legal, etc.)
Drafting internal investment memoranda and materials for Investment Committee discussions
Supporting the team in deal sourcing, thematic market research, customer and expert calls, and competitive landscape mapping
Contributing to portfolio monitoring and internal reporting
What we expect
Top-performing students in their final year or recent graduates from a leading university (business, finance, engineering, or related field)
Initial internship or work experience in Growth Equity, Private Equity, Consulting, Investment Banking, or similar fast-paced environments
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with meticulous attention to detail
Genuine passion for technology and innovation, with curiosity to understand business models, products, and emerging market trends
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams
High degree of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and resilience in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (experience with tools such as PitchBook, Capital IQ, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus)
