The UCI World Cycling Centre (CMC) in Aigle is an outstanding multi-sport facility. It is used by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) as a training centre and features a 200m Velodrome, a BMX Racing track, a Pumptrack and a BMX Freestyle Park. Inaugurated in 2002, it welcomes a large number of athletes from around the world who devote all their energy to their sports career. The UCI WCC trains and develops about 100 athletes a year in four Olympic disciplines (Road, Track, MTB and BMX).


The Education Department of the UCI World Cycling Centre is recruiting an:

Intern for its Satellite Network Sector (100%)

English - French

Mission:

An internship at the UCI WCC is an ideal way to gain professional experience in the sports industry. Upon starting, the intern will participate in the daily administration of the Satellite Network Sector by providing support.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the daily follow up with the numerous Satellites Contribute in the creation and editing of content for the Satellites Support the Satellite Network Coordinator and Education Manager in fostering collaboration between departments Assist in managing the Satellite Sector's email inbox Assist in the implementation of the Ride & Learn programme worldwide Assist in the organisation of the World Bicycle Day's activation, as well as any other cycling initiation activations at the WCC

Profile:

Recent or soon-to-be completed higher education, with a desire to gain initial experience in the sports world Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Familiarity with the Moodle platform (a plus) Excellent writing and organizational skills Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines Detail-oriented, motivated Able to work independently Excellent interpersonal skills Strong interest in sports, with a particular interest in cycling being a plus
