The Role



We are seeking an Investment Analyst to conduct forensic research and deliver data-led insights that inform high-stakes investment decisions for private capital vehicles and family offices. This position requires exceptional analytical capability, intellectual curiosity, and the discretion necessary to work within the private wealth sector.

You will validate investment theses through granular research into specific asset classes and industries, moving beyond pitch decks to provide impartial, fact-based feasibility studies. Your work will directly inform capital allocation decisions for sophisticated investors who demand verifiable insight over assumption.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct detailed investment research across diverse asset classes, sectors and geographies Perform market entry analysis for portfolio companies and direct investments, including regulatory landscape assessment and competitor analysis Build financial models and valuation frameworks to support investment decision-making Execute due diligence processes that meet investment-grade standards Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable reports for senior stakeholders Monitor market developments and identify emerging opportunities aligned with client mandates Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to deliver comprehensive project outcomes

Required Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field 3+ years of experience in investment research, private equity, investment banking, management consulting or a related analytical role Strong financial modelling and valuation skills with proficiency in Excel Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and synthesize large datasets Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications



Familiarity with private wealth structures, family office operations or alternative investments Experience conducting market research or commercial due diligence Additional language capabilities (French, German, Mandarin, Cantonese) CFA Level I or II candidacy Authorization to work in Hong Kong Master's or higher level graduate degree (MBA, Master's in Finance, or equivalent)
