Junior Events Coordinator, Maternity Cover (August 2025 - May 2026)

About the Opportunity
We are currently looking for a maternity cover from August 2025 to May 2026 for a dynamic and resourceful Junior Event Coordinator in our Growth team in Zurich. The Event Coordinator plays a pivotal role in our engagement journey with our clients (virtual and in-person) in the German-speaking region of Switzerland, being responsible for, planning and executing client events, conferences, workshops and webcasts. They ensure that our business standards are met and strongly contribute to offering a differentiating experience to our clients.
Your role and responsibilities:

• Being a trusted events expert supporting our marketing and client facing teams
• Planning and executing client events from A-Z (both in-person and virtual)
• Leading and coordinating third parties, such as suppliers, internal teams and clients
• Managing events to budget
• Drafting and coordinating event correspondence and distribution
• Managing event registrations and maintaining invitee databases, ensuring data privacy compliance
• Proactively providing post-event performance analysis, including improvement actions and recommendations
• Providing project support to the Growth team on wider initiatives and campaigns as well as participating in cross functional projects

You have/are:

• Proven track record of a minimum of 2-3 years' event marketing/management experience, preferably within a professional services company or hospitality sector
• Working knowledge of virtual meeting/events platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom)
• Fluent in German and English, additional languages are a plus
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially with senior audiences
• Ability to work on various projects in parallel and to prioritise according to tight deadlines
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work flexible hours (Mo - Fr)
• A client-centric thinking, service and quality-oriented approach
• A team player with a positive and solution-oriented attitude
