Your Role
As KYC / Counterparty Management Specialist (temporary for 6 months) at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you support the KYC / Counterparty Management Team with the daily incoming KYC requests from the bank's counterparties. This position does not involve KYC/DD checks on the banks own clients.
Your Responsibilities

• Support the Team with allKYC/AML/DD related queries from external third parties, such as brokers,trading counterparties, custodians and other banks
• Reply in time to all incomingKYC queries, closely collaborating with the Compliance teams in thedifferent locations and further internal expert functions such as Legal,Operations, Tax and Trading.
• Keep full overview of allpending queries, their deadlines and their priorities
• Help to ensure all relevant KYCdocuments across the Group are up-to-date
• Continuously improve &automate current processes to ensure an efficient and high-qualityprocessing of KYC queries, including the use of industry standards whereapplicable

Your Profile

• Bachelor degree in law, business or economics or commercial apprenticeship with relevant experience in a bank
• Basic knowledge in the financial services industry in a compliance-related function, focusing on KYC/AML/DD
• Independent, pro-active working style, taking full ownership
• Profound analytical skills paying attention to details
• Good communicator and team player; ability to develop constructive professional relationships internally and externally
• Ability to work under pressure as well as to adhere to tight deadlines, to weigh problems and set priorities
• Excellent command of English and German (written & spoken)
