Hauptaufgaben

Entwicklung von strukturellen Klebstoffen fur die Batteriemontage der e-Mobilitat der Zukunft so wie den Karosserie Leichtbau in Vollzeitanstellung. Durchfuhrung von effizienten und effektiven Materialentwicklungen, die auf fundierten chemischen Kenntnissen und einem starken Fokus auf wissenschaftlichen Methoden, hypotesebasiertem Design von Formulierungen und Experimenten basiert, idealerweise unter Anwendung von Data-Mining-Fahigkeiten. Die Unterstutzung funktionsubergreifender Teams und insbesodere der Produktion ist der Schlussel zu unserem Erfolg, um die Markteinfuhrung entwickelter Technologien gemass den Produktvermarktungsprozessen von DuPont voranzutreiben.

Wissen und Expertise

Laborant mit herausragendem chemischen Verstandnis, B.Sc oder M.Sc. in Chemie oder einem verwandten Bereich ist eine Mindestanforderung. Technologisches Know-how in polyurethanbasierten, Epoxid- und Acrylatklebstofftechnologien. Kenntnisse im Projektmanagement, sehr gute Arbeitsorganisation und gute Dokumentation der durchgefuhrten Arbeiten. Selbststandige, motivierte und belastbare Personlichkeit mit ausgezeichneten zwischenmenschlichen Fahigkeiten, die in der Lage ist mit internen und externen Stakeholdern zusammenzuarbeiten, um hervorragende Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Zwischenmenschliche Fahigkeiten fur den Aufbau starker Kundenbeziehungen, um Geschaftsergebnisse zu erzielen Verstandnis fur die Bedeutung von Nachhaltigkeit fur die Materialentwicklung. Geschatssinn. Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch sind Voraussetzung, zusatzliche Sprachkenntnisse sind erwunscht. Fahigkeiten oder Fachkenntnisse in Informationstechnologien, insbesondere Data Mining und Machine Learnig sind von Vorteil.

Verantwortlichkeit & Wirkung

Eigenstandige Entwicklung von Klebstoffrezepturen unter Verwendung verschiedener Technologien und unter Anwendung unterschiedlicher Chemien, um die Projektanforderungen zu erfullen. Eigenhandige Laborabeit, Herstellung von Klebstoffformulierungen, chemische und physikalische Charakterisierung und Abprufung von Kundenspezifikationen. Ubernimmt die Projektleitung und arbeitet mit Stakeholder in verschiedenen Funktionen zusammen, um den Abschluss des Projekts und die Kommerzialisierung der Technologie sicherzustellen. Gleichzeitige Arbeit an mehreren Projekten und Aufgaben. Verantwortung fur die auditkonforme Projektdokumentation nach DuPont Entwicklungs-standards. Rechenschaftspflicht fur den Schutz des geistigen Eigentums. Verstandnis und Umsetzung der Geschaftsstrategie von DuPont. Untersutzung der Vorbereitung von Projekt-Stage-Gate-Meetings auf der Grundlage DuPont Entwicklungs-Standards. Durchfuhrung aller Arbeiten in Ubereinstimmung mit den EH&S-Standards (Environment, Health & Safety) von DuPont. Proaktiver Beitrag zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Arbeitssicherheit.

We look for a

Laboratory Technologist f/m/d

to join our Battery and Structural Adhesives R&D team based

in Freienbach.

Main Responsibilities

Development of structural adhesives for battery assembly in future e-mobility as well as lightweight body construction in a full-time position. Execution of efficient and effective material developments based on solid chemical knowledge and a strong focus on scientific methods, hypothesis-driven formulation and experimental design, ideally utilizing data mining capabilities. Supporting cross-functional teams, especially production, is key to our success in driving the market launch of developed technologies in accordance with DuPont's product commercialization processes.

Knowledge and Expertise

Laboratory technician with outstanding chemical understanding; a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field is a minimum requirement. Technological expertise in polyurethane-based, epoxy, and acrylate adhesive technologies. Knowledge of project management, excellent organizational skills, and thorough documentation of work performed. Independent, motivated, and resilient personality with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outstanding results. Interpersonal skills for building strong customer relationships to drive business outcomes. Understanding of the importance of sustainability in material development. Business acumen. Proficiency in German and English is required; additional language skills are desirable. Skills or expertise in information technologies, especially data mining and machine learning, are advantageous.

Responsibilities & Impact

Independent development of adhesive formulations using various technologies and chemistries to meet project requirements. Hands-on laboratory work, preparation of adhesive formulations, chemical and physical characterization, and testing against customer specifications. Takes on project leadership and collaborates with stakeholders across functions to ensure project completion and commercialization of the technology. Simultaneous work on multiple projects and tasks. Responsible for audit-compliant project documentation according to DuPont development standards. Accountability for intellectual property protection. Understanding and implementation of DuPont's business strategy. Support in preparing project stage-gate meetings based on DuPont development standards. Execution of all work in accordance with DuPont's EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) standards. Proactive contribution to continuous improvement in occupational safety
