Corporate Functions includes the Group\\\'s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Corporate Office, Risk and Tax departments.

You will join the Legal Investigations team where you will provide legal advice and support for the Group in relation to key international litigations and investigations.

Your role
  • Analyse and review various factual complexes, banking relationships and sensitive issues (e.g. US tax, international sanctions, etc.).
  • Assess risks associated with these relationships, particularly from a legal, reputational, regulatory and financial perspective.
  • Develop a strategy and participate in the resolution of these investigations or cases in collaboration with other departments, business lines (Front Office, Compliance, Internal Audit, Group Risk, etc.) or Pictet entities.
  • Follow up on any litigations, investigations and claims related to these cases, including before state courts and/or arbitration tribunals.
  • Answer any request from a foreign or national authority in line with any litigations, investigations and claims.
  • Solicit, coordinate and supervise, as appropriate, the activity of external counsel.
  • Take part in the development of internal policies, procedures and training related to the activities of the Legal Investigations team.
Your profile
  • Completed exams and admission to the Bar or equivalent (minimum Master\\\'s).
  • At least three years\\\' experience with a bank or a law firm specialised in the banking sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Swiss banking regulations and financial regulatory framework.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
  • Strong service orientation and ability to communicate in a synthetic and precise manner.
  • Fluent in English and French, with excellent writing skills. German would be an asset.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland.
