Primary Function of Position:
The Manager Finance & Sales Operations Europe is responsible for providing analytical support and financial modelling to the functional and regional leaders of the Europe Direct Commercial and Corporate Organization, as they make important strategic and tactical decisions. He/she also supports the integrated Strategic Planning process by ensuring appropriate support (analytics & communication) and tools.
The Manager Finance & Sales Operations Europe will be involved in detailed business modeling with the support of Business and Financial Analysts; this is a highly analytical role involving the manipulation of large data sets, a keen understanding of our commercial & corporate processes and commercial finance, as well as the ability to communicate and develop meaningful work relationships.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate all European FP&A teams in the preparation of detailed departmental budgets and quarterly forecasts, manage the European consolidation.
Onboard, train and manage a team of financial and business analysts across Europe.
Standardize FP&A processes, models, and reporting tools for European direct markets.
Prepare (automatized and ad-hoc) financial and commercial reports or analyses that generate insights, influence stakeholders and positively impact our operations.
Identify and drive implementation of revenue generating activities and process improvement projects.
Coordinate the Commercial and Corporate Planning process and related activities (Addressable Market, Commercial Readiness, Prioritization, Goal Setting).
Prepare weekly and quarterly European Leadership reports and packages.
Answer broad questions from the Europe SVP and Europe Finance Leadership Team (EFLT) using internal/external data, inputs from subject matter experts and simplify the complex with state-of-the-art data visualizations.
Develop and maintain relationships with Global/European Functional Leaders (Marketing, Customer Training, Sales Enablement, Medical & Clinical Affairs, Service, GAVE, GBS, COE).
Upon request, overtake ad interim or as back up the FSO responsibilities for a region.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
8-10 years of relevant work experience.
Desire to work in a fast paced and complex team environment.
Quick learner and ability to drive successful results with limited supervision.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in mainstream data and productivity tools as well as experience in building state-of-the-art models to solve complex financial and operational issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in English and at least one of the following languages: French, German, Spanish and/or Italian.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
